Here are latest progress update of the Macapagal Drive-Upper Carmen Diversion Road Project which is now traversing the former open dumpsite now being converted into an ecopark.
Below are screengrabs from Project LUPAD aerial video of the road project which will connect SM Bypass Road to Patag then to the National Highway in Kuaswagan. You can observe complete road concreting of the initial segment of the new diversion road.
The project is still a long way to go. Here’s the initial road route map. Some road realignment might occur during road-right-of-way negotiation as the road project progresses northward. It will pass along the periphery of Camp Evangelista then crosses Patag Road and extends towards near Gaisano Warehouse along Kauswagan Highway. Click map to enlarge.
