Construction of the 3-storey male dorm facility inside the Cagayan de Oro City Jail in Barangay Lumbia is progressing very well.
As shown, exterior works on the building is now ongoing.
Records from the Bureau of Jail Management & Penology revealed that the jail facility has a current population of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) of 2,077 cramped into 18 existing cells. The project aims to help decongest the facility.
