Construction continues for Filinvest’s FDC Misamis Power Corp. 405-Megawatt (MW) circulating fluidized bed (CFB) coal-fired thermal power plant located within the Phividec Industrial Estate in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.
As shown, several t-cranes are seen inside the 84-hectare power plant complex.

The power plant will consist of 3 units of 135 MW steam turbines.

The power plant is being built by Equipment Engineers Inc (EEI) Corporation, one of the country’s largest construction firms and which has partnered with NEPC Power Construction Corp. for the project (LINK). The 405-MW plant is scheduled to be completed in 2016.
