Construction work on the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Highway is now focused on the section beside Cagayan de Oro Port.
This section is crucial because it is where Bitan-ag Creek drains into the bay. A lot of informal settlers are also along the route. It is also where the coastal road connects with the 3rd Bridge (Puntod-Kauswagan). For road route, read HERE. Sources onsite revealed a bridge is being built onsite and culverts installed over the said creek.
