A couple of weeks after the groundbreaking ceremony for the viaduct section and related components, construction of the Macabalan-Bonbon Bridge Project has now resumed. As shown, contractors are now preparing for the approach on the Macabalan side. Once completed, the bridge project will serve as alternative route to bypass the city proper and provide additional access to Cagayan de Oro Port as well. Photos by MAD Visuals.
Construction has so far installed four spans of the bridge across Cagayan de Oro River.
Latest updates revealed that the bridge will now reportedly connect to the Punta-Macabalan Section of the Coastal Road.
