The Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) led by Assistant Secretary Daryll Bryan L. Villanueva and Iligan City Mayor Frederick Siao, led the ceremonial ground breaking of the 2 tower 10-storey midrise housing project located at Bay Vista Village, Paitan, Brgy. Dalipuga, Iligan City. The project intended 480 families is the first in Mindanao under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino: Zero ISF 2028 Program.
As shown in the rendering below, the project will have two 10-storey residential buildings. Each floor has 24 units.
After this project, a similar 20-storey housing project is being planned at Brgy Saray also intended for the city’s informal settlers.
The Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino: Zero ISF 2028 Program is aimed at building 1 million housing units per year in the next six years.
