Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana together with Philippine Army Chief Gen. Andres Centino and DPWH Undersecretary Eugenio Pipo, Jr. recently led the inauguration of the newly completed Php 60 million 3-storey Headquarters Administration Building inside Camp Evangelista in Patag, Cagayan de Oro City.
The new admin building can accommodate up to 14 office spaces, a conference room, 10 toilets, 13 storage spaces and 12 pantries. Military administrators and its workforce will be able to dispense service efficiently with the improved working space and condition given the safer and conducive building.
Meanwhile, construction of the Php 172 million Camp Evangelista Station Hospital Facilities is expected to start soon with the ground breaking and capsule-laying ceremony held. When completed, the 50-bed capacity hospital will serve as the primary health care facility of the said headquarters. The project is expected to be finished before the year ends.
