Motorists have now started to use the Balulang-Macasandig Bridge with the Balulang Approach now opened to traffic despite some portion of the access road still unpaved.
So far, only a few motorists have started crossing the bridge which connects Barangay Macasandig and Barangay Balulang.
You can observe the unpaved portion of the Balulang Approach.
This connects to Macanhan-Balulang Road. There is still a barrier at the junction but half of the entry is already open enabling vehicles to enter.
The Macasandig Approach was the first to be completed.
Meanwhile, construction of the portion of the megadike project continues in the vicinity.
