Cebu Landmasters, Inc. (CLI) and Xavier University (XU) – Ateneo de Cagayan have just signed today, August 20, 2021 a Memorandum of Agreement for the acquisition of 14.3 hectares of XU’s Manresa Property in Uptown Cagayan de Oro which will be developed into Manresa Town. Proceeds of the sale will be used to develop the new XU Masterson Campus dubbed as “Campus of the Future”, which at 21 hectares will be three times larger in area than the current campus.
Signing the agreement as shown below are (from left): Engr. Lennie K. Ong (Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan Treasurer), Fr. Mars P. Tan, SJ (Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan President), Jose R. Soberano III (Cebu Landmasters Chairman & CEO), and Jose Franco B. Soberano (Cebu Landmasters Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer)
Based on the masterplan, the main entrance to Manresa Town is at the junction of Masterson Avenue and PN Roa Sr Avenue (Macapagal Drive).
