Here are latest updates of the Balulang-Macasandig Bridge as of April 2021. With the bridge which connects the two southern barangays of Cagayan de Oro City already done, the approach from Balulang is also now nearing completion. The Macasandig approach was completed months ago.

This is the Balulang approach now connected to the Carmen-Balulang Road. Concreting works will soon follow.
You can observe a 3-barrel culvert beneath the approach which acts as drainage outlet for runoffs from Balulang proper.
Meanwhile, construction of the Flood Risk Management Project (river dike) continues at Cala-Cala area of Macasandig. This will be connected to the completed dike at Paseo del Rio.
