If you haven’t been lately at the Cagayan de Oro Convention Center in Taguanao, Indahag, you’re in for a surprise. As shown, the facility’s entrance lobby is now almost done complete with tiled floors, creative high ceiling and elaborately designed walls.

Part of the scope of works for the latest project contract include the installation of roughing-ins for LED wall TV, CCTV, sound system, auxiliary and VRV air conditioning units.

Finishing touches for the painting, architectural, ceiling, and housekeeping works for the function rooms, administrative office and rehearsal rooms are also in progress.

Last January 2021, we posted about the installation of bleachers and stadium seats. The main arena is designed to accommodate up to 7,700 spectators.

Installation is also ongoing of the FIBA-standard flooring, complete set of basketball and volleyball court with electronic shot clock in the main arena.

Landscaping is still ongoing.

You can also observe some finishing touches on the exterior.

Accordingly, additional amenities such as the five-storey car park building with roof deck, pavilion, view deck and other recreational features are proposed for funding, making the complex at par with the latest design concept.
