Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc., the infrastructure business unit of the Aboitiz Group which recently obtained Original Proponent Status (OPS) for its P42.7 billion unsolicited proposal for the upgrade, expansion, operations, and maintenance of the Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental is looking forward to takeover the airport by the first quarter of 2020.
In an interview today at ANC’s Market Edge, Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. Chief Operating Officer Cosette Canilao said they have partnered with top international engineering consultant Arup for the masterplanned development of Laguindingan Airport.

Canilao added they are now discussion with the government for the airport project which should be in accordance with the National Tourism Strategy and the economic development of Misamis Oriental.
