Construction of the P19.2 million 3-storey male dormitory at Cagayan de Oro City Jail in Brgy. Lumbia is now nearing completion.
As shown in the photo above, the main structural frames are almost done and with continuing concreting works. City Hall reports 90% project completion as of today.
The project will help decongest the 400-capacity jail facility, which currently houses nearly 5,000 inmates mostly with drug-related crimes.
