There’s one big reason to visit Tangub City as the GARDENS OF THE WORLD, considered the only world-class garden in the whole country located within Mt. Malindang Range National Park is expected to draw more tourists soon.
Tangub City Mayor Philip Tan led local officials during the recent groundbreaking ceremony of Gardens of the World Reception Building located at Fertig Hills, nearly 1,100 meters above sea level.

As per Mayor Tan, the development designed by renowned architect Felino Palafox, Jr. will also include a statue in honor of Colonel Wendell Fertig, who led the guerrilla force in Mindanao during World War II. There will also be a statue dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel, Tangub’s patron saint, and an amphitheater for Tangub’s multi-awarded Dalit Festival dancers.

Development of the Gardens of the World actually started in 2017 and the full project implementation will follow the natural terrain and maximize the view of the surroundings which will feature Tangub’s history and heritage. Shown below is Belvedere Viewdeck which is the first development of the Gardens of the World. It offers a commanding view of Panguil Bay and the future Panguil Bay Bridge.
