A whole new BUTCHER’S BEST BARBEQUE awaits local patrons as the store is about to get a major makeover. The store located along Archbishop Hayes Street near Corrales Avenue in downtown Cagayan de Oro is now closed to public with a large tarpaulin posted onsite indicating it will have a new look with new food.
Considered to be the city’s original favorite hangout place serving their tasty pork BBQ, Original Sisig, SinugWOW and the Grilled Angus Beef, Butcher’s Best underwent a renovation in 2015 after a fire broke out at its chimney.
But the renovation work which would have included an expansion was not completed and the restaurant has so far lost its luster.
With new restaurants and joints opening in the downtown area, the much needed improvement is long overdue.

Hopefully, Butcher’s Best will relive its glory days when it was a favorite food spot recommended for tourists.
