Another huge investment has entered Misamis Oriental after Purefoods-Hormel Co., Inc. recently broke ground its newest meat processing plant located specifically in Sta. Ana, Tagoloan.
Executives of Purefoods-Hormel were on hand for the project milestone witnessed by Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny “Bambi” Emano and local executives led by Tagoloan Mayor Heckert Emano.
The company manufactures popular refrigerated meats like Tender Juicy Hotdogs, Purefoods Sweet Ham, Purefoods Honey-cured Bacon, Purefood Chicken Fun Nuggets as well as Grocery Products like Purefoods Corned Beef, Purefoods Luncheon Meat, Purefoods Vienna Sausage, among others.
The “AAA” plant facility will be constructed plants in compliance with the standards set by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).
Purefoods-Hormel Co., Inc. is a subsidiary of San Miguel Pure Foods Company, Inc., the largest food company in the Philippines. This latest investment will add more job opportunities and spur downstream economies.
