The Port of Cagayan de Oro will soon have two six-lane electronic gate complexes for efficient flow of vehicular traffic. The first which will start construction this coming October 2017 will be at Gate 5 which is the entrance from Arcadia Valenzuela (Agora Road) Avenue while the second will be at Gate 6 which will have direct access to the Coastal Road when completed.
Accordingly, the project will comply with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and will be fully equipped with CCTV cameras and other facilities such as weigh bridges for cargoes and payment booths.
