SM CDO Downtown Premier centrally located along CM Recto Avenue
When SM CDO Downtown Premier opens its doors to the public in May this year, it will redefine lifestyle shopping in the City of Golden Friendship. As the first premier mall development in Cagayan de Oro city, the 177,743 square meter mall will bring in an eclectic mix of fresh dining concepts and new styles with its fashionable range of contemporary global brands.
Centrally located along CM Recto Avenue, it will have 5 floors of retail, dining, and entertainment options including a Food Hall, a Cyberzone, a Bowling Centre, state of the art cinemas including 4 digital cinemas, 2 director’s club, and 1 large format digital cinema.
The fifth level will have a Sky Park with al fresco dining and entertainment, and the Sky Hall an 800-seater events venue. SM CDO Downtown Premier will also have 8 floors of prime office spaces in the BPO Tower.
More than that, it will have sustainability features, including a rainwater catchment system for flood prevention. This comes at a time when heavy rains like the recent one last January 16 have made flooding a major concern for residents.
The rainwater catchment basin lies underneath the main mall building that measures 75 x 40 meters floor area and as high as 6 meters which can hold up to 13,650 cubic meters of water, an equivalent to 5 Olympic-size swimming pool.
