The Limketkai Group is planning to put up a casino at their under construction Lifestyle Podium of Module II Project right across Robinsons inside Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro Cty.
This was revealed in a letter addressed to the City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy who immediately referred the matter to the committee on games and amusement.
As quoted in a news article at Gold Star Daily (LINK), Limketkai is seeking a city council resolution for the proposal as a requirement for their application of a casino franchise. If their proposal is acted favorably, it will be also be regulated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR).
